Joanne Youens

Managing Director

Joanne has worked in the cleaning industry for over 10 years. Having spent 20 years working in sales and account management, Jo is also a proficient coach and NLP Practitioner. With a vast knowledge of training and the customer service market, her experience extends to the media and retail industries too.

Jo is naturally people and client focused. She is a passionate and creative leader who loves to nurture and develop her teams whilst looking after the needs of her customers too.

In her spare time, Jo can be found enjoying life outdoors with her children and crazy Flat Coated Retriever. She also loves to cook, read and spend time by the seaside, whatever the weather!

Robert Spendelow

Business Development Manager

Robert has over 35 years’ experience within the contract cleaning and support services market, having achieved an enviable client portfolio of leading UK companies, schools and commercial businesses.

Robert is passionate about customer care and service delivery, utilising his past training and experience gained with an earlier career working for the John Lewis Partnership.

Robert has been married to his wife Alison for over thirty years, where they both enjoy visits to the seaside, flea markets, museums and have a keen interest in local and social history.

Robert is an ardent fan of the Dad`s Army tv series, and proud that his late father was also member of the `Home Guard` during the last war and took part in the liberation of Europe during D-Day.

For over thirty years he donated his much of his spare time working within the voluntary sector, in addition to raising money for charities, including the elderly and Barnardo’s.

Sarah Perfect

Operations Manager

Sarah has a wealth of experience in the facilities sector, in both soft and hard services and has handled multiple accounts with national portfolios as well as local ones.

She enjoys building relationships with both clients and employees to ensure that the desired outcome is achieved and that the contract runs smoothly. Certainly hands on, she’s not afraid to get her gloves on to get the job done and is a dab hand with power tools, a skill she nurtured over lockdown.

In a blended household with 5 children and a Great Dane, her home life is just as much of a juggling act. Everyone has their role so that the household runs efficiently – much to their disgust…. Sarah is currently project managing building works to her new house so that everyone can finally have their own room.

On the rare occasions she has to herself, she enjoys reading (mainly chick-lit that requires no real thought and can be dipped in and out of,) and weekends away discovering new places. She also loves live music and is a festival regular.

Ron Payne

Area Manager

Ron joined Momentum FM in early 2020 and has covered both the service and office roles which has given a good working knowledge of the company and it’s highly rated services. Ron brings a wealth of experience in logistics & customer service from his many years in the Freight forwarding industry which he is transfering into his daily routine as Area Manager ensuring that the ship is steady, and airways are clear for take off.

In his spare time Ron likes to play Rugby Union and enjoys coaching & watching all levels of Rugby, Ron is also a family man with 6 children to keep him busy.

Desmond Thomas

Area Manager

Desmond has worked in the cleaning industry for over 5 years. It became quickly apparent that Des has both the leadership qualities & skillset to run our very busy Service Department, something he now does with ease.

Having started his career with Momentum as one of our Cleaning Supervisors, bringing his grass roots experience to the busy team of operatives he manages.

Des enjoys family time with his young Son & socialising with friends.

Kate Timberlake

Office Manager

Kate has recently joined the Momentum FM team and is responsible for all functions within our lively ‘back office’. From the processing of paperwork, through to auditing and accounts, Kate provides seamless support to our busy managers on the road.

When she’s not working, Kate loves to spend time with her family. Having an older son and twins, her life is certainly hectic! Her favourite pastimes include reading, eating out with friends and she loves trips to the theatre. Kate also enjoys her holidays in the sun, winding down with a cocktail or two!

Juliet Small (known as Jules)

Marketing & Telesales Manager

Jules has worked for Momentum Facilities Management Ltd since it was set up and has an important role within the sales team, including arranging meetings with prospective clients and existing customers. Jules also manages the busy diaries of the Sales Managers. She is an integral part of the office team helping out with Admin, Finance and any other duties that are urgent. Very importantly, Jules brings in the cakes, biscuits and many other goodies! She is complimented almost daily on her cheerful friendly approach.

In her spare time she loves nothing more than socialising with family and friends, eating out, the occasional glass of wine (or two), but mostly spending time with Basil & Clive her 2 beautiful Fox Terriers.
